We are in Beijing

WE ARE IN BEIJING - for our first leg of our trip back home to Bucharest. This whole past month has been an amaizing time for us and for our son Gruia. He is a little fellow behaving like a brave man. He has endured everything, from IV oand spinal injections to a dramatic climate and diet change. But we see that he makes small progresses everyday (although pretty hard to spot), and that is for us priceless ..

We had the chance to visit in a hurry the Forbidden City. Unlike Shijiazhuang, which is an industrial city (about the size and population of Bucharest), Beijing has a very specific charme, due to the old buildings, historic landmarks and, for an European like us, due to a milder weather.

We are looking forward to seeing you all back home! We're missing Vlad so much and we can't stop thinking that not taking Gruia's twin brother along to China has been a huge huge mistake, which we hope to repair in some way. We shall never separate the twins again...

    Urmaresc in continuare povestea lui Gruia si m-am bucurat impreuna cu voi de fiecare raza de lumina aparuta in viata lui. Aveti in continuare incredere si veti reusi sa faceti pentru copilul vostru tot ceea ce v-ati dorit. Sunt alaturi de voi si nu pot sa nu ma minunez de taria de care ati dat dovada. Va trimit toate gandurile mele bune si multa, multa dragoste

    va uram bun venit acasa si suntem alaturi de dumneavoastra si de gruia speram din tot sufletul ca gruia sa se faca bine ca prin el avem si noi o speranta cu baietelul nostru asteptam vesti bune de la dumneavoastra multa sanatate lui gruia si la toti copii cu multa dragoste fam floricel
