Gruia is running on the corridor

GRUIA IS RUNNING ON THE HALLWAY - everyone is amused to see him so excited and full of energy. He runs so quickly that we have to hold him by the hand (so that he will not bump into something and get hurt), but if we do hold him like that we can barely keep up with him. After a few laps along the long corridor we are all swet.

The personnel seems particularly amused when Gruia says something in Chinese, although he can speak English and even Spanish as well, depending to the person who's playing at that moment with him. One more thing, Gruia likes to talk continuously. And he is more spoiled than before - maybe because almost everyone in the ward plays with him.

A couple of days ago we bought him some kind of bicycle with steering wheel. It's perfect for small children, who don't know how to use the pedals, but can push themselves around using their own feet. Either Laura or I push Gruia on the bicycle to get some speed, and the amazing thing is that Gruia is able to keep the bike straight without bumping into the corridor walls. This is a good sign - it can only mean two things: either he got used to the width of the hallway and he can now appreciate by heart his position, or he can perceive somehow the walls and can adjust his bike accordingly. Either way, this is encouraging.

Another thing we have noticed is that if the speed is too high, Gruia doesn't react quickly enough and ends up by hitting the wall.
