Gruia's friends

Gruia's friends are the best thing that could ever have happened to him. Because of you, Gruia will have the chance to regain his sight. We would like to thank you for your pledge of support!

 

Gruia's best friend

Gruia's twin brother Vlad has been his greatest friend. Everywhere we go the therapists are amazed to see how well developed Gruia is for a blind child. The only explanation they could find was the permanent interaction with his twin brother. Gruia started to walk by himself when he was 1 year and two months old, only a month after Vlad!

In almost every aspect Vlad is Gruia's rock. He gives him toys when Gruia cannot find them on the floor or plays tag with him around the house. Vlad finds this very amusing and laughs loudly, so Gruia is able to track him down by listening to the laughs. They play together like this all the time!

Any improvement in Gruia's sight would also mean a better chance for them not to be separated later, when they go to kindergarten, and then school. With better sight, Gruia could continue to have his brother close nearby.

A very good friend is Razvan Danaila from www.focalpoint.ro, who patiently surprised in his pictures that special bond between our twins. We thank him wholeheartedly!

We would like to send a warm and special Thank You to Ms. Alice Pascariu, who amazed us to the tears with her generosity and unwavering belief in the power of the human kindness.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Mr. Mounir Halawani, whose altruism has taken us so much closer to our goal.

Mr. Bogdan Surdu's kind offer to cover the cost of the flight tickets to China is an overwhelming pledge of support for Gruia's fight! We thank him for keeping us on track and on target!
